WOC - WTOC 2014 (Italy) July 5-13
The Foot Orienteering and Trail Orienteering World Championships take place every year. It is the first time Italy organizes the World Orienteering and Trail Orienteering Championships. Italy has already organized the World Ski Orienteering Championships in 1984 and 1994, the World Master Orienteering Championships in 2004, the Junior World Orienteering Championships in 2009 the World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships in 2011.
The World Championships will take place from July 5-13, 2014. A new formula will be adopted for the first time: details are still to be decided by IOF; from 5 to 6 medal events (finals) are expected. The World Orienteering Championships 2014, the Trail-O World Championships (WTOC) and the 5 Giorni d'Italia (WOC Tour) will grant a high quality action-packed week in the wonderful areas of Trentino and Veneto.
